5 Home Security Apps that will keep Dangerous Intruders at Bay

Do you feel vulnerable when you leave home because you don’t want anyone to break in? Unfortunately burglary is a part of life and you’ll never convince everyone to spot breaking into houses, so you can only do everything in your power to make sure you and your home stay safe. We have the technology to help us these days and these iPad apps are a perfect example of why you don’t need to be scared anymore.

Foscam Surveillance Pro (https://itunes.apple.com/th/app/foscam-surveillance-pro/id373509500?mt=8)

This isn’t the most complicated app in the world, but it’s perfect for anyone who has a Forscam security system at home. Once you download the app it will allow you to look through the cameras dotted around your home and you will always be able to keep a watchful eye on things. You can now be sitting in a hotel across the other side of the world and nothing will be able to get past you. Even if nobody breaks in you will still be able to check if your home isn’t engulfed in flames.

Alarm.com (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/alarm.com/id315010649?mt=8)

A lot of apps let you tap into the security cameras around your home, but this app is a little different because it has an extra feature. You will be able to go back and watch an event after it has already happened. If you realize there is something strange about your home you can go back a few hours to see if anyone has broken in, then you will be able to notify the police in plenty of time. You could even check to make sure your children come home at a suitable time when you’re at work.

e-Home Controls (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/e-home-controls/id326442413?mt=8)

Once you download this app you will be able to control almost anything around your home provided you have an e-Home system installed. You will be able to arm and disarm your security system on the go which always comes in helpful in case you want a friend to get in. Another cool security feature is the ability to switch your lights on and off because I’m sure you know burglars don’t like to break into homes when they think someone is sitting watching the television.

iSeeVideo (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/iseevideo/id423300472?mt=8)

This is another great app from a security company that lets you watch a live feed from your home. If you don’t have a clue about these kinds of things you might be grateful to know this is an easy app to use. Napco also has another app in their collection called MyRemoteKeypad, and this one is for gaining remote access to your security keypad when you’re out of the house. Just like the last app we talked about you can use it to arm and disarm your alarm system whenever you want.

AT@T Digital Life (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/at-t-digital-life/id580630991?mt=8)

You can control your home remotely using this app, but instead of focusing on what we’ve already talked about we’ll look at something completely different. One great feature this app has is the ability to notify you when anything is wrong at home. It could notify you of a smashed window or it could tell you when your cook enters your home to start making dinner. It can also do cool things like switch lights on when something is tripped to help scare burglars away.

Feel same from now on

Hopefully you already feel safe in your own home, but these apps are a great way to feel a lot safer. You never know who is lurking around outside and it’s important to be on your guard at all times. Check out the apps and I bet you won’t be disappointed, if you value your safety.
